A Day at the Beach
La Casita
So many of you know we are working on fixing up a house on the back of the wood shop to live, its a little over a mile from Aaron's parents house where we live now and down the street from the factory/office. So far they have taken down a couple walls and put others up, fenced the whole thing, painted in and out, built a little plunge pool and much more I can't begin to describe. The house has come so far and there isn't much left to do, we should be moving in two weeks.
Here are some pics of before and current...

Easter
Since there isn't an Easter bunny to visit here, nor are there plastic eggs to be purchased and filled with treats, hidden, found, eaten and stuffed in a toy box, we had to skip most things Easter. We did, however, boil, dye, devil and eat some eggs, thanks to Grandma for bringing egg dye!
Here are some pics:)

When it rains...
Here are a few pics of our first rain... normally (or so they say) the first rain is mild... this 4" rain in an hour was anything but... When I first sniffed out the coming storm I quickly grabbed Jax and ran outside to dance and spin in the soft warm droppings that were peacefully falling from the sky since it had been sweltering hot... about 10 minutes later we were shouting to be heard and watching it quickly flood the pool.

Blacker... and baby booties.
I am a total Blogslacker = Blacker. Granted, I have no internet at the house thus the only time I get online is on quick trips to the office with a squirming 10 month old whose only desire is to crawl around so he can get into buckets of dirt and whatever else is in Aaron's office... At any rate, I managed to come to the office with the pack and play, managed to get Riley to actually sleep in it, and now realized I don't have the cord to download any new photos onto my computer. Boo.
Not a lot has been happening around here. They are continuing to work on the house we will be moving into...only a couple weeks away. They laid sod a couple weeks ago and painted last week which should be finished this week. They are working on building various shelving and storage projects and I bought some fabric to make curtains, so things are happening. Unfortunatley I can't show you any photos!!!
What I can show you is Riley's cute butt. Enjoy:)

Back to basics...
Well the vacation is over, we took my mom back to San Jose and she flew home Thursday. It was so fun to have her here without being pregnant or having a brand new baby...we did so much in the 3 short weeks she was here the time just flew by. Here are some pics of the rest of the trip.
This is the waterfall just a few miles out of Bagaces. This was my first time going since I was here 5 years ago, it was beautiful and next time I will bring my swimsuit!

We also took the boys to the hot springs up the road which was a lot of fun!

This is the BEST Mexican you will ever eat... truly authentic and cooked over an open fire. Just a little hole in the wall taco joint, but they are always the best!!

If you ever come to visit, it will be marked in cement... Aaron's parents have a fantasic border around the pool with hand/foot prints and whatever else you want to write in there...here is moms.

We went ziplining again at a local place. They didn't have as many cables as the first place but it was still a lot of fun.

And here is just a cute picture of Riley playing at the doctors office while waiting to be weighed in...:)

So... THANKS MOM for coming to visit, it was a GREAT trip and it went by too fast. I love ya!
